Terms and ConditionsÂ
1. Scope of Services:Â Massage therapy services provided are for therapeutic and wellness purposes only, including relaxation, stress reduction, and relief of muscular tension. Services are non-medical and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment by a physician or other regulated health professional.
​2. Client Health Information & Consent: Clients agree to provide accurate and complete health information, including injuries, medical conditions, medications, and allergies that may affect treatment.By booking or attending an appointment, clients confirm they voluntarily consent to receive massage therapy and understand they may request changes to pressure, technique, or areas treated at any time.
​3. Professional Boundaries: All services are strictly professional. Any inappropriate language, behavior, or requests will result in immediate termination of the session and may lead to refusal of future service. Full payment will remain due.
​4. Draping & Client Comfort:  Appropriate draping is used at all times to ensure privacy and comfort. Only the area being treated will be uncovered. Clients may request modifications or stop the session at any time.
​5. Appointments, Late Arrivals & Cancellations: Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid delaying other clients. Cancellation Policy: A minimum of [24 hours] notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late Cancellation / No-Show Fee: Appointments cancelled with less than the required notice or missed appointments may be charged [full session fee or %].
​6. Fees & Payment Fees: Fees and forms of payment are listed on the website and are subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Accepted payment methods: cash, credit or debit card.
​7. Contraindications & Right to Refuse Service: For client safety, treatment may be modified or declined if a condition is present that could be adversely affected by massage (e.g., certain injuries, infections, or medical concerns). When appropriate, clients may be asked to obtain medical clearance before treatment.
​8. Liability Waiver: Clients acknowledge that massage therapy carries normal therapeutic risks (such as temporary soreness) and agree to hold the practitioner and business harmless for ordinary outcomes of treatment, except where prohibited by law.
​9. Privacy & Personal Information: Client information is collected and stored in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws (including PIPA, where applicable). Information is used only for providing services, record-keeping, and communication, and will not be shared without consent unless required by law.
​​10. Minors: Clients under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian provide consent. A guardian may be required to be present during the session.
​11. Insurance Receipts:  Where applicable, receipts will be issued for insurance reimbursement. Coverage is the client’s responsibility.
​​12. Changes to Terms: These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The current version will be posted on the website and applies to all bookings.
